With a relationship now spanning nearly 8 years, Whitney and Kent first met through their love of dogs, photography and travelling.
The Proposal
Kent got down on bended knee on the 17th of February at the Adelaide Botanic Garden, the location of the couples' very first date.
Tell us about the proposal:
Kent had bought up on fruit, cheese and snacks so we headed to the botanic gardens for a picnic. We wandered amongst the trees for a while and then found a peaceful spot next to the stream. We were both very relaxed and happy and Kent suggested a photo, after which he knelt to the ground and pulled out the most beautiful ring! I said, I do, of course and we spent the evening drinking Pol Roger with family.
What are you most looking forward to about being married?:
Continuing to build our lives together and enjoying all the moments, no matter how big or small.
The Ring
Whitney's ring features a beautiful six-claw round brilliant centre and a dainty diamond band.
What is your favourite aspect of your ring?
I love the way the diamond sparkles at every angle and the meaning it holds for both of us.
