Furthering their connection, Stephanie and Luigi discovered their grandparents sailed to Australia from Italy on the very same boat, unearthing a photo of their grandparents together from all those years ago.
The Proposal

On Saturday, May 18th, we celebrated a milestone: 1,000 days since our first meeting. We began the day by revisiting the very place where our journey began, savouring a cup of coffee together. Then, we wandered through the serene Adelaide Botanical Garden, marvelling at the tranquil waterfall where birds gracefully sipped water. It was there, amidst such natural beauty, that Luigi chose to propose, marking a moment of profound significance in our shared story.
