Shayne and Shane’s story began in the most effortless way, with a chance meeting at a café where Shayne was working and Shane had stopped by to help fix something. A first date the following weekend quickly turned into a love story that has now spanned four beautiful years.
Their proposal was just as natural and heartfelt. After celebrating Shayne’s birthday the night before, the couple woke the next morning at The Calile Hotel to what was meant to be a rainy day. Instead, the sun appeared, setting the scene for a quiet, intimate moment on the balcony. As Shayne sipped her morning tea, a little hungover and completely unsuspecting, Shane stepped outside holding a box she instantly recognised. What followed was a blur of emotion and joy, marking the perfect beginning to their next chapter together.
The Proposal
Shane proposed to Shayne on The Calile Hotel Balcony on 10th August 2025
We celebrated my birthday on the 9th of August. The next morning we had a cup of tea on the balcony of the hotel room. It was forecast to rain but the sun was out and it was lovely, I was sipping on my tea, a little hungover and he came outside with a box that I recognised immediately, the rest is a blur!
The Ring
Shayne's ring is a bespoke piece modeled our signature Grace design with a wide band similar to our Seraphine design.
What is your favourite aspect of your ring?
I love everything about it! I love the thicker band, it’s proportional to the diamond. It’s just gorgeous!
Why did you choose Class A?
We went in together, I had an idea of what I wanted and it was so easy to pick the band and diamond. It was such an easy process it was meant to be!
