Renee and Daniel’s story began with a quiet connection—first through Instagram, then through conversation, and finally, with a seaside first date at Henley Beach. Three years later, their love story reached a breathtaking milestone in the Flinders Ranges, where Daniel, with Renee’s children by his side, planned a heartwarming and unforgettable proposal at Wangarra Lookout.
The Proposal
Daniel proposed to Renee in the Flinders Rangers on the 31st August 2024.
Tell us about the proposal:
Daniel took me & my kids away to the flinders rangers for a weekend away. We stayed in Wilpena Pound in a clamping tent. It was beautiful. On our second day there Daniel insisted we go on a hike to the top of a mountain, Wangarra Lookout. I didn’t know but the kids knew what was about to happen and because they knew they hiked that mountain without winging once - they were so excited to get to the top. Once we reached the top, Daniel suggested he would take a photo of me with my kids looking out at the view. When I turned back around Daniel was on one knee with my breathtaking ring!! I was beside myself. My daughter got it all on video while my son squealed with excitement! A moment I will treasure forever. Very special!
What are you most looking forward to about being married?
Becoming one with my children & Daniel & growing our family.
The Ring
Renee's ring is our timeless and elegant solitaire design, Jessica.
What is your favourite aspect of your ring?
My ring is perfect. I went for a round solitaire style as it’s timeless & classic. My band is yellow gold, with my setting in white as I love how the white sits around the diamond. I cannot stop staring at my hand it is even better than I ever imagined.
Why did you choose Class A?
I found that when I walked into your showroom the ladies were so accommodating and gave me a lot of time. They let me try everything on & they didn’t rush me. I got a warm feeling & I just knew this was where I wanted to go.
