Niamh and Braydon’s love story began with a Tinder match that quickly turned into something much more, especially once they realised they shared close mutual friends. From their very first date, the two were inseparable, building a relationship that has now spanned just over six years and taken them from Adelaide to the Northern Territory, where they’ve built a life together through moves, adventures and remote living.
The proposal itself was the perfect surprise. After Niamh had been convinced she couldn’t be surprised and that a 2025 proposal was off the cards, an impromptu camping trip to Black Point changed everything. Following a day spent visiting a distillery and a brewery, the couple returned to the coast for a relaxed evening. While Niamh was unaware, Braydon slipped away to the beach, later messaging her to come and find him. As she rounded the corner, she found Braydon kneeling in the sand, asking her to spend the rest of her life with him in a moment that was both unexpected and unforgettable.
The Proposal
Braydon proposed to Niamh at Black Point on 6th November 2025
Niamh anticipated a kangaroo island proposal in October and was vocal about Braydon not being able to surprise her. When this didn’t happen, she thought that a 2025 proposal was out of the question. However, an impromptu camping trip to black point said otherwise. We spent the day at a Distillery and onto a Brewery before heading back to Black point for a relaxing evening. Without Niamh realising, Braydon disappeared to the beach, messaging Niamh to join him. Niamh walked around the corner and he knelt down, proposing on the sand.

What is your favourite aspect of your ring?
I love the uniqueness, the marquise diamond and the angle it sits.
Why did you choose Class A?
I fell in love with a marquise years ago and when I found a photo of this setting, I knew that it was for me. My friend took me to try on rings at Class A earlier this year and the customer service was amazing, the same friend took Braydon and he was also very happy.
