The Proposal

Dillon proposed to Lucey at their family farm on 6th May 2026

I had a little feeling that Dillon was going to propose that day, but I tried not to get my hopes up. I was at university when he texted me asking if I could be home by 4:30 pm. That immediately caught my attention because he's a carpenter and usually works from sunrise until well after 6:00pm, so it was completely out of character for him to be home that early. When I arrived home, he was waiting for me in our bedroom, dressed in a crisp white shirt, dress pants and his RM Williams boots. The room was filled with candles, and laid out on the bed was a beautiful dress with a white rose. He simply smiled and said, "Put this on and meet me in the car."

We live on a farm, and he drove us to the back of our property. On the way, he asked, "Do you notice anything?" I looked around and said, "The sun's come out." Looking back now, it felt like perfect timing. The weather had been rainy all day, yet at that exact moment the clouds parted and the sunshine appeared. To us, it felt like one of God's little reminders that His timing is always perfect. It made the moment feel even more special, and it's something we'll never forget. When we arrived, he had created the most beautiful picnic overlooking our property. There was a white rug, white cushions, fresh white flowers, a cheeseboard, and a tripod already set up to capture the moment. Everything was so thoughtfully planned. It was the most magical afternoon. The combination of the sunshine after the rain, being on our family farm, and all the little details Dillon had organised made it feel like something out of a dream. It couldn't have been more perfect, and it's a memory we'll cherish forever.

The Ring

What is your favourite aspect of your ring?
My engagement ring is the Grace design featuring a stunning 3 carat oval diamond set on a yellow gold band. My favourite part is definitely the yellow diamond it feels timeless, elegant and so "me." I also love that it's a little different from what you typically see, making it feel incredibly unique. The way it catches the sunlight and sparkles is absolutely breathtaking.

Why did you choose Class A?
Finding my dream ring was actually much easier than I expected because I already knew the style I loved. The only things I was certain about were an oval diamond and a yellow gold band. From there, I trusted Dillon to make the final decisions, including the size and the finer details, which made the ring feel even more special. We chose Class A because of their incredible craftsmanship, beautiful designs and outstanding reputation. The entire experience felt so personal, and knowing my ring was created with such care made it even more meaningful. Seeing the finished ring for the first time exceeded every expectation I had it was everything I had dreamed of and more.

We couldn't be happier with the experience, and I can't wait to wear it for the rest of my life.
