Jordi and Josh’s love story began long before romance was ever part of the picture. Growing up side by side through high school, their friendship was built on years of laughter, shared leadership and unwavering support. Somewhere between study sessions, school captain meetings and long conversations, that friendship quietly turned into something more. Almost four years later, during a weekend filled with their favourite things: camping, wine tasting and time together, Josh planned a proposal as thoughtful as their journey. At sunset at Blanche Point, surrounded by sweeping ocean views, candles, photos and a beautifully styled picnic, he asked Jordi to marry him, creating a moment that perfectly reflected the deep love, faith and life they’ve been building together ever since.

The Proposal

Josh’s proposal completely took my breath away!! It was everything I could have dreamed of and more. The weekend was already full of plans, which made the surprise even more special. He had quietly asked my mum, dad, and sister for their blessing and even showed his parents the ring beforehand. We’d planned a camping trip in McLaren Vale, one of our favourite things to do together. We both love camping, it’s our time to unwind, connect, and enjoy the outdoors. On the Saturday, we decided to get dressed up and go wine tasting, which was the perfect mix of our favourite things, a little adventure and a little elegance. We spent the day wandering between wineries. That evening, Josh told me he wanted to take me somewhere to watch the sunset. He drove us to Blanche Point. The view was breathtaking, and when we arrived, I realised he had planned something special. There was a photographer there to capture the moment (which meant so much to me because we love photos!), and the setup was absolutely stunning, a picnic blanket, cheese board, wine, candles, our photos, and a beautiful bouquet of flowers. It was thoughtful, romantic, and everything I could have ever wished for.

What is your favourite aspect of your ring? 
It’s an elongated cushion cut with a hidden halo, and I am completely in love with it. It’s timeless, elegant, and sparkles from every angle. It’s classic, romantic, and perfectly me!
