Despite knowing each other for most of their lives, Isabella and Marco properly connected at a nightclub around 5 years ago, leading to the start of their love story. After being together for 4.5 years, Marco popped the question!
The Proposal
Yalumba Estate hosted the special moment on September 17 2023.
Tell us about the proposal:
We went up to Yalumba Estate in Barossa Valley for a wine tasting and picnic. Along the way, Marco had prepared a playlist for the drive, containing all the memorable songs from our relationship. When we got to Yalumba we did the wine tasting, then had a private area on the side of the estate to enjoy our picnic. Marco made me a card, which led into the proposal. It was the best surprise.
What are you most looking forward to about being married?:
Enjoying our time together as a married couple and eventually starting a family.
The Ring
Isabella's ring features a marquise diamond with seven smaller pink sapphires on the side, set on a yellow gold band.
What is your favourite aspect of your ring?
My favourite aspect of the design is the pink sapphires, as it makes my ring unique. It’s so perfect! My absolute dream ring. Marco and Daniel from Class A did so well.
Why did you choose Class A?:
Marco went to Class A as he had heard a lot of good things about the quality of their rings and the service. Daniel instantly ran with the design, which immediately made Marco feel at ease about the process.
