Georgia and Patrick first met unexpectedly at a music festival through mutual friends, with Pat’s height serving as a landmark in the crowd. Three years later, Pat planned a relaxed weekend away to Hindmarsh Valley, disguising it as a discounted Airbnb stay thanks to a “friend from work”.
On the second day of their getaway, Pat proposed on the front porch overlooking the valley, creating an intimate and meaningful moment. The celebrations continued with lunch at Lost Phoenix Farm, sharing the news with loved ones, and a spontaneous family gathering the following day in Adelaide.
The Proposal
Patrick proposed to Georgia at Hindmarsh Valley on 13th December 2025
Pat organised a little weekend getaway to an Airbnb in Hindmarsh Valley. To avoid giving anything away, he told me that a friend from work owned the place and was offering us a huge discount, so of course we had to go. As it turns out, there was no friend from work at all! On the second day of our getaway, Pat proposed on the front porch, overlooking a stunning, picturesque view of the valley. We then enjoyed an incredible lunch at Lost Phoenix Farm before returning to the Airbnb to call our family and closest friends and share the news. The next day, we organised an impromptu get-together with our immediate family in Adelaide at Latteria. It couldn’t have been more perfect.
The Ring

What is your favourite aspect of your ring?
I LOVE my ring and have received so many compliments on it, having only been wearing it for 4 days! I love the combination of the pear-shaped diamond with the curved band. I always knew I wanted my ring to be a little bit different, yet still classic, and this design truly ticks every box.
Why did you choose Class A?
I had tried on this exact ring at Class A when I browsed their collection in April 2025 and later sent a photo of it to Pat, along with several other designs I loved. The Naia ring was always my favourite of everything I tried on - though I never actually told Pat that! Somehow, he managed to read my mind perfectly. I also own a few other Class A pieces that I wear every day, so I knew they would create a ring of exceptional quality; something I could wear forever. Pat has said the purchasing process with Class A was incredibly seamless and pleasantly straightforward. We both love knowing that it’s an Adelaide-based, family-run business, which makes the ring even more special to us.
