Gabbie and Todd’s love story began back in 2016 when they matched on Tinder as teenagers. A few months later, they met in person at their local pub while out with mutual friends, and by mid-2017, their relationship officially began. Fast forward seven years, and their story took a beautiful turn with a surprise proposal at Tennyson Beach.
The Proposal
Todd proposed to Gabbie at Tennyson Beach on the 21st November 2024.
Tell us about the proposal:
My best friend is a photographer and gifted me a maternity photoshoot at almost 30 weeks pregnant. We met her down at Tennyson Beach at sunset for the perfect shots. Little did I know Todd had planned to take the perfect opportunity to get this special moment caught on camera. Only a few minutes into the shoot, Todd got down on one knee. I was so shocked, I took a while to answer because I had the giggles. I couldn’t believe how perfect the ring was. It’s everything I’ve ever dreamed of. I couldn’t wipe the smile off of my face for the rest of the shoot. It was such a special moment, especially having my very best friend there with us.
What are you most looking forward to about being married?:
Finally sharing a last name, spending the rest of our lives together as Mr and Mrs Stansborough.
The Ring

What is your favourite aspect of your ring?
I’ve always said I wanted a classic oval solitaire with a plain gold band when rings have come up in conversation, and over the many years we have been together, I have always sent Todd posts of the gorgeous rings Class A create and post on socials. He made my dream come true. I love how classic and timeless the ring is, I wouldn’t change anything about it. I think it makes it even more special that he had it custom made and picked the exact diamond for me. I still can’t stop staring at it. She’s beautiful.
Why did you choose Class A?:
I have followed Class A for many years on socials and have fallen in love with all of the rings Class A create. In 2022, I took my brother to Class A to purchase his fiancé’s engagement ring, and I find it special my partner also did the same.
I would just like to say a massive thank you to Class A for creating such a gorgeous ring I will never be able to stop staring at. We are both so incredibly happy.
