The Couple
How did you two first meet?:I work with Tom's brother, Tim. Tim and I have never been attracted to each other but we got along well and it wasn't long before he started telling me I need to date his brother Tom. Tom was living and working in QLD as a paramedic and nurse and I had very little interest in doing long distance so I said no. Tim persisted until he got confirmation from Tom that he (Tom) would be moving back to SA in a number of months and therefore after a bit of resistance, I said yes to Tim giving Tom my number.
Tom and I clicked immediately. Our messages were like novels and we spent hours on the phone talking. Our very first phone call was 3 hours long and they only got longer. Tom offered to fly down for a date after a two days of messaging and I of course said yes. Due to a cyclone in QLD on the day Tom was due to fly in to Adelaide, his flight was changed and he flew in much later than expected. This meant we had to decide whether we wait one more night to officially meet, or he comes past mine on his way to the hotel. We opted for the latter. Tom knocked on my door at about 10pm and we had a cup of tea in my lounge room. The rest is history.
The Proposal
Tell us about the proposal:
As mentioned above, Tom and I met for the very first time (officially) in my lounge room. Exactly 6 months later on the 26th of July, in the very same lounge room that we first met, Tom proposed. I didn't expect it at all and it was absolutely perfect.

What are you most looking forward to about being married?:
Spending every second of my spare time with Tom. Because our relationship started long distance, and even now Tom will work away as a medic at times, the time we get to spend together I cherish so much. Also, having kids. I can't wait to watch Tom be a Dad.
The Ring
The ring Tom had designed for Faustina is a beautiful Toi et Moi design featuring a emerald cut Ceylon Sapphire and a pear diamond.

What is your favourite aspect of your ring?
I love my ring. The design is a 'Toi et Moi' which means 'you and me' and that's what marriage is. I also love the beautiful sapphire as the colour adds to the uniqueness of the design. Tom put so much effort into having the ring designed perfectly for me and I love it. It makes it even more special. Why did you choose Class A?:
I didn't give much away as I wanted Tom to design the ring. My ring and engagement has always been something I have wanted to be surprised about. I had a Pinterest board of a variety of rings I liked which I narrowed down ever so slightly for Tom. He knew I wanted a custom high quality ring with a Toi et Moi design and something unique. He nailed it. He chose Class A Jewellers as I have had a number of my rings and other jewellery fixed or polished there and really liked the store.

What a love story! Congratulations to the happy couple.
