Five years ago, Emily and Matt's best friends set them up on a date at Maslin Beach, and they have been inseparable ever since!
The Proposal
Matthew popped the question on 14th October 2023 at the location of their very first date.
Tell us about the proposal:
We started our day with a cooking class at Sticky Rice in Stirling and ended the day with a beautiful walk along the Maslin Beach cliffs with our dogs. I waited until Emily turned around and got down on one knee. It was the best moment of our lives.
What are you most looking forward to about being married?:
Travelling and being able to call each other husband and wife.
The Ring
Emily's statement solitaire ring features a 2.5ct oval diamond set on a yellow gold band.
