Elly and Isaac's love story began at a mutual friend's 21st birthday party. Having spent the last 4 years together, it was a very special moment when Isaac asked Elly to spend the rest of their lives together.
The Proposal
On September 28 2023, after a 9 week holiday in Europe, Isaac popped the question in their final country - Greece.
Tell us about the proposal:
We had booked a suite in Santorini in the town of Imerovigli, with a plunge pool overlooking the sea. Isaac told me he had organised a date night for us and bought food for a platter.
During the sunset we were eating the platter, having a drink and playing a game of Uno when he sneakily got one of the blank wild cards and wrote “will you marry me” on the card and put it in his hand without me noticing. He was about to win the game and said he was on “Uno” and proceeded to ask me “are you sure you want me to play this final card?”, to my disappointment I was losing so I said “whatever” and he put the card on the table then got down on one knee and asked me the question.
It was very special and I was in shock and also laughing at how he planned it all without me finding out. The remainder of the night we swam in our plunge pool and drank champagne watching the view and the town lit up. As it was 3am back in Australia, we celebrated just us two and then called our friends and family the following days.
What are you most looking forward to about being married?:
Having all our family and friends together in the same environment.
The Ring
Isabella's ring is our gorgeous GRACE design in yellow gold.
What is your favourite aspect of your ring?
I love everything about my ring, I love the gold band and oval shaped diamond with the 4 gold claws.
Why did you choose Class A?:
After visiting a lot of jewellers, Class A’s customer service was next to none and quality and finishing of their rings was the best we had seen. They took the time to help find the perfect band, diamond shape and size and have taught us things we didn’t even know about diamonds but also gave us so much advice and tips to ensure the ring is kept in excellent condition for years to come.
