Chloe & Ben

Chloe and Ben’s love story began through mutual friends, but it wasn’t until a Christmas lights walk down Ninth Avenue that sparks truly flew. After four and a half years together, Ben planned the perfect proposal in Mooloolaba, the place Chloe had always dreamed of. At sunset, surrounded by family and the ocean breeze, they posed for photos before Ben turned to her and said, “and now for the fun part.” In that moment, Chloe knew. With their loved ones watching, Ben asked her to marry him, the most perfect proposal for the man she always knew was “the one.”

The Proposal

Ben proposed to Chloe at Moolooaba on the 28nd April 2025.

I always told him I wanted to get engaged in Moolooaba, Sunshine Coast. We had been there together twice before this trip, but he always told me he wouldn’t ask me to marry him on a family holiday (this always had me bummed!) We went to Class A to try on rings about a year ago, which is where I fell in love with this design. I knew one day he would ask, but he did well at convincing me I still had a little time to wait. The night before he proposed, we went on a boat cruise in Noosa. He had brought the ring with him on the boat, just in case there was a perfect opportunity, but he decided it wasn’t the right scene. The next day he said to me “maybe we should get some nice family photos tonight at sunset before our dinner reservations”. I wasn’t going to argue, I didn’t know he was going to ask, but something inside of me felt like something was coming. That afternoon, I thought he was so relaxed, so there was no way it could be happening. I spent the afternoon watching Love Actually (fitting, I know), with the strangest gut feeling. The whole family came down to find a nice spot for a sunset photo. We had a group photo and then set up to get a couple photo. During our photo, he turned to me and said “and now for the fun part”. I knew instantly, it was a feeling I cannot explain but the best one of my life. My whole family watched me get engaged to my soul mate, it could not have been any more perfect.

The Ring

Chloe's ring is a signature Class A Design, Carrie  with a bespoke hidden halo.

What is your favourite aspect of your ring?
My ring is absolutely perfect! When we went shopping, we chose the Carrie design as it sparkled like nothing else. It is simple, elegant and timeless but certainly catches your eye. One of my favourite parts is the hidden halo that Ben had added to it. It is a simple change but makes a huge difference, it sparkles on every angle.

Why did you choose Class A?
Every design at Class A was stunning. We found the process really easy and they had everything I wanted to try on. They were very helpful during the process and made things simple for Ben and his busy schedule. Even making sure his phone wasn’t on loud speaker when they called him - it’s the little things! I think their range of elegant, beautiful rings is what caught our attention.

Congratulations, Chloe and Ben! What a gorgeous story and such a thoughtful proposal, a sunset moment in Mooloolaba surrounded by family sounds like pure magic. We can only imagine how special it must have been to say yes to forever with your loved ones there to share it.

We’re so happy your beautiful Carrie ring could be part of that unforgettable moment. Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter and all the adventures still to come.

With love,
The Class A Team
