After over a decade of knowing each other and four and a half wonderful years as a couple, Charlotte Beecken and Jordan Koch’s love story took a magical new turn over the Easter long weekend. The pair set off on a camping trip to the breathtaking Eyre Peninsula – a getaway filled with nature, quiet moments, and one unforgettable surprise.
On their second day, they discovered a stunning secluded beach. As they wandered along the shoreline, taking in the serenity, Jordan chose the perfect moment to get down on one knee and ask Charlotte to marry him. The proposal caught her completely off guard – a heartfelt surprise that made the moment all the more special.
The Proposal
Jordan proposed to Charlotte on the Eyre Peninsula, on the 19th April 2025
Over the Easter long weekend, we decided to go on a camping trip to the Eyre Peninsula. After the first night we pulled up to a beautiful secluded beach. We went for a short walk on the beach, Jordan popped the question and asked me to marry him. He caught me very off guard and it was the most special surprise.
We cannot wait to celebrate with our nearest and dearest on our wedding day. We’re so excited to keep doing “everyday life” together, side by side, as we build our dream future.
The Ring
Charlotte's ring is a Class A Design Grace with a bespoke hidden halo.
What is your favourite aspect of your ring?
The ring is so special to me as my Dad, Daniel Beecken [Jewellery Designer at Class A Jewellers] designed the ring and sourced the most perfect diamond. My favourite part of the ring is the diamond hidden halo.
