Some wedding days are beautiful. Others are deeply personal. Bethan and Taj’s celebration at Anvers Wines was effortlessly both. Inspired by a modern yet timeless aesthetic, every detail reflected who they are as a couple, from a ceremony led by both of their mums to an intimate private vow exchange that became one of the most treasured moments of the day. Their bespoke Class A wedding bands, thoughtfully designed alongside our jeweller Ben Mucklow, completed the story.
The Wedding
Bethan married Taj at Anvers Wines on 7th March 2026What were your favourite moments on the day?
One of the most meaningful moments from our wedding day for both of us was our decision to share private vows. It quickly became a true highlight of the day, an intimate and emotional experience that allowed us to connect away from the crowd. Being able to express our feelings so openly and personally made it incredibly special, and it’s a memory we will both treasure for the rest of our lives.
We decided early on in the wedding planning process that we wanted our families to play a meaningful role in our special day. After exploring a few different ideas, it quickly became an easy decision once we discovered that both of our mums could be our celebrants. Having them lead our ceremony made the day feel even more personal and heartfelt. Together, they guided us through every moment, beautifully sharing our love story and ultimately pronouncing us husband and wife for the very first time. It was an incredibly special experience that made the ceremony all the more memorable and unique to us.
The Wedding Rings
Tell us about your wedding rings. Why did you choose these designs?
We had the absolute pleasure of receiving the incredible guidance and support of Ben Mucklow throughout the process of designing our wedding rings, and we truly couldn’t be more grateful. From the very beginning, Ben was patient, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping us create something meaningful and personal. Bethan had always envisioned a unique ring that would beautifully complement her engagement ring. After trying several options in store and spending time discussing ideas with Ben, the process naturally evolved into designing a completely one of a kind piece.
Ben’s creativity and thoughtful approach made the experience so enjoyable, and the final design exceeded all expectations, Bethan is absolutely in love with the result. Taj, on the other hand, was drawn to the idea of an engraved wedding band, something with character. Ben immediately understood the vision and was able to present a design that resonated straight away. His ability to interpret ideas and turn them into something tangible and special was truly impressive. Overall, we feel incredibly fortunate to have worked with Ben. His expertise, creativity, and genuine care made the entire experience not only seamless but also deeply memorable. We will always appreciate the time, effort, and passion he put into helping us create rings that we will treasure for a lifetime.
