Aita and Mark’s love story began at a close friend’s wedding in 2022, where an instant connection saw them spend the entire night talking and getting to know one another. From that very first evening, Aita felt there was something special about Mark, a feeling that only grew stronger over the next three and a half years as their relationship deepened.
Mark’s proposal was intimate, emotional and beautifully unexpected. Under the guise of a simple dinner date, he asked Aita to arrive early at his place, a detail she thought nothing of at the time. While they sat chatting on his bed about the past few weeks, Mark quietly stepped away, returning moments later with the ring box in hand. With the words “let’s do this my love” he got down on one knee and asked Aita to marry him.
The Proposal
Mark proposed to Aita on 9th August 2025
Mark had planned for us to go out to dinner to a restaurant at 7.30pm and asked me to be at his place at 7pm. I wondered why I had to be there so much earlier when the restaurant was 5 minutes from his place. I didn’t catch on. I got to his place at 7.25pm and saw Mark dressed up looking soooo handsome - I still didn’t catch on but he asked me why I was so late and I said didn’t think we needed a lot of prep time for a restaurant 5 minutes away. I sat on Mark’s bed and we began talking about the last few weeks and suddenly Mark walked over to the side table near his front door and looked at me with the ring box in his hands. He looked at me and said “let’s do this my love” and got down on one knee and asked me if I would marry him. We both became so emotional. It was the most perfect proposal I could have ever asked for. I couldn’t stop crying with joy. I truly felt like he had just given me the world.

What is your favourite aspect of your ring?
The gorgeous Grace design. It is unique, elegant, timeless and simply stunning. The way it is elevated and enhances the whole look and the fact that it also symbolises Mark and I’s love. It is a ring that will never get old… I will admire it forever.
