Hand engraving is one of the oldest and most respected techniques in jewellery making. Using specialised tools called gravers, designs are carefully carved directly into metal by hand.
Every line is guided by the engraver’s skill and touch, creating subtle variations and character that machines cannot replicate. Unlike laser engraving, which is computer generated and uniform, hand engraving carries the individuality of the maker and the emotion behind the piece.
