Steph & Jordan

After 15 years together, Jordan popped the big question to his high school sweetheart, Steph on 26th November 2023.

How did you two first meet?:
We first met when we were in high school. I had a huge crush on Jordan but he was the popular kid and I was the nerd so I was always to nervous to talk to him. A year later, we met at a party and Jordan told me how pretty I was and we exchanged numbers and started talking. He ended up being my brother's good friend so I got to see more and more of him and he started to have feelings for me as well. Before we knew it, we started seeing each other and have been high school sweethearts ever since.

The Proposal

Tell us about the proposal:
Jordan was persistent on going camping on Saturday, but I was persistent on setting up the Christmas lights instead. Jordan kept saying we should go for a beautiful drive on Sunday - get out of the house spend some time together.

We went for a drive to my favourite lookout, where you can see four different towns all on top of the mountain in the Flinders Ranges. We went for a beautiful walk with our son and found a lovely spot under a big gumtree and was looking out into the valleys. That’s when Jordan got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I screamed and cried, screamed and cried. I can’t even remember if I put the ring on, or if he put the ring on and after that I realised I don’t think I said yes, so I screamed out yes, and had a beautiful moment together soaking in the beautiful ring he put on my finger

What are you most looking forward to about being married?:
The excitement of organising our engagement party and wedding and going through that process with now fiancé.

The Ring

Steph's ring features a round brilliant centre diamond with a cushion-shaped halo and diamond-set split band.

What is your favourite aspect of your ring?
I came into the store about four years ago and fell in love, knowing it was my dream engagement ring. I love the beautiful round stone in the centre surrounded by smaller diamonds and then it flows down into two rows forming into the band.

Why did you choose Class A?:
I had gone to so many ring shops and never found the one. Jordan and I made a trip to Adelaide and went to every single jewellery store in Rundle Mall, Marion and as a last store, I asked to be taken to Class A Jewellers as I remember the stunning ring on the Netflix show Yummy Mummies. Once I saw it, I knew that was the one.

We're thrilled to play a small part in Steph and Jordan's love story!
