Laura and Pat first met in high school in 2008 and quickly became great friends. Fast forward to 2021 and their friendship blossomed into a relationship!
The Proposal
Pat proposed to Laura at Kingston Park Coastal Reserve Lookout on 2nd March 2024.
Tell us about the proposal:
We went to see a Fringe show in Goodwood, had a lovely dinner at Good Gilbert and while at dinner, Pat suggested we take a bottle of wine down to a lookout near the beach to watch the sunset. Pat had the ring ready in November last year and was waiting for a time when it just felt right. So while watching the sunset and after some crafty conversation to go in the direction of a proposal, Pat got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! It was a moment that was so unexpected and so natural, I didn't see it coming! A simple, beautiful moment shared together and it was the easiest yes!
What are you most looking forward to about being married?:
To continue doing life together and making many special memories over the years.
The Ring
Laura's ring is our timeless and elegant six-claw solitaire design, Jessica.
What is your favourite aspect of your ring?
I love the simplicity of the design, it is absolutely stunning. The way it shines in the sunlight is BEAUTIFUL!
Why did you choose Class A?:
We are lucky enough to be friends with Sam, one of the jewellers at Class A so I (Pat) visited him and he helped me to find the perfect ring. Sam made the process seamless and I can't thank him enough!
