After over seven years together, Evangeline and Kain's journey led them to Kawaguchiko, Japan, where Kain planned the ultimate surprise. While cycling around Lake Kawaguchiko with breathtaking views of Mount Fuji, he found the perfect spot, pretending to set up a photo. As they stood waiting for the timer, he suddenly dropped to one knee, leaving Evangeline in complete disbelief.
The Proposal
Kain proposed to Evangeline at Mount Fuji, Japan on the 27th November 2024.
We woke up to a beautiful view of Mount Fuji in Japan and decided to spend a day cycling on e-bikes around Lake Kawaguchigo. We hit a half way point and found an amazing viewpoint along a bike track where Kain pretended to take a photo, for the memories. It wasn’t until we both stood there waiting for the self time signal to go off that Kain got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I spent the next 10 minutes in disbelief and ended the afternoon with peach flavored soft serve and cycling around the lake. Best day ever!
