Ella and Sam’s love story began on the dance floor of Benny’s Bar in Fremantle, where a chance encounter on a night out turned into a beautiful relationship. After 2.5 years together, life led them on a new adventure—a road trip across the country as they relocated from Perth to Northern NSW. But as their journey neared its end, Sam had one more unforgettable stop planned.
The Proposal
Sam proposed to Ella on Werri Beach on the 13th February 2025.
We were relocating from Perth to Northern NSW for the year and had decided to drive across and make it into a road trip. After two weeks of driving we were coming to the end of the trip and had finally made it to NSW. Sam suggested an evening beach swim and after exploring the area a bit we settled on a nice sheltered spot on the beautiful Werrie Beach. Sam then said “I forgot my towel” and ran back to the car to get his towel AKA the ring. We had been keeping a journal of our trip and taking a lot of photos and after a swim in the ocean Sam suggested we get a quick selfie on the camera. After he had it positioned correctly, he got down on one knee where I completely lost it with excitement and emotion. I suddenly looked like a bird with wings, flapping my arms in excitement with tears running down my face. Gerringong was a special place for me and it really couldn’t have been more perfect Sam was obviously delighted as well with a few tears shed too andddd I think slightly relieved that he didn’t have to hide the ring in the car any more! After a bit of the shock wore off I looked down at my finger and could not believe that I had this amazing ring on my finger which I absolutely adore! We then went to the local bowlo for a steak and beer to top off a perfect evening!!
The Ring

What is your favourite aspect of your ring?
I just absolutely love the oval trilogy. The trilogy is a classic but I think this ring has a bit of a modern twist too.
Why did you choose Class A?
Sam picked it all and I had no idea! But I absolutely love it and couldn’t be happier. He came across Class A in his search and knew straight away it was the right place and had the right ring.
