Kristina & Nick

The Couple

Tell us about how you two first met:
Nick and I first crossed paths in 2015 at the Royal Adelaide Show, where mutual friends brought us together. From that day on, we were inseparable. Being 15 at the time meant that our parents became our chauffeurs, taking us back and forth to see each other as we were too young to drive. Our connection was so strong, that a few months later on the 24th of January 2016, Nick asked me to be his girlfriend, and our journey officially began.

The Proposal

Tell us about the proposal:
On our eighth anniversary, Nick planned a surprise trip to The Lane Vineyard in Hahndorf. Upon our arrival, he revealed that he had organised a picnic for us, complete with a ready-made picnic basket and a bottle of champagne. After picking up our goods, we set off to find our picnic spot, which had a stunning view of the vineyards. As we reached our location, we laid out the picnic rug and arranged our food. Nick then asked me to place his phone on the table. When I turned around, he was on one knee. In that moment, he shared some heartfelt words and asked me to marry him. Without hesitation, I said yes, sealing our commitment to one another. Nick and I savoured the following hours, eating and drinking, and sharing the wonderful news with our nearest and dearest.

Our celebration continued as we headed to Eos by Sky City, where we stayed for the night. An intimate dinner awaited us at Madame Hanoi, and later, we were joined by our family and friends for drinks, where we created lasting memories together."

What are you most looking forward to about being married?:
We can't wait to get married and have a huge celebration with our family and friends.

The Ring

Kristina's ring is a stunning radiant cut diamond solitaire, suspended in double claws. Nick made the piece truly unique by having their proposal date engraved in the inside of the band.

What is your favourite aspect of your ring?
I love everything about the ring! But if I had to choose a favourite aspect of the design, it would have to be the engraving on the inside.

Why did you choose Class A?:
I have always loved the jewellery at Class A, often finding myself saving multiple Instagram posts of their rings to share with Nick. He told me that the process extremely easy for him, and the service was impeccable.

Congratulations Kristina & Nick!
