Production Jeweller

Location: Walkerville, South Australia

Role Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled full-time Production Jeweller to join our dynamic team of jewellers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for polishing components of jewellery, crafting pieces for our esteemed collections, providing jewellery soldering services, and delivering exceptional customer service when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Polish various components of jewellery.
Assemble pieces for our stock – including our Fine Jewellery Collection and Petite Collection, adhering to our brand's standards of quality and design.
Solder jewellery on customers for our Linked for Life permanent jewellery experience.

Requirements:

Experience in jewellery production and crafting, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
Proficiency in jewellery polishing techniques and soldering methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers when required.
High attention to detail.
Strong work ethic and a passion for the artistry of jewellery making.
Willingness to learn and adapt, with a commitment to upholding our brand's legacy of excellence.

Jewellery Designer

Location: Walkerville, South Australia

Role Overview: As a Jewellery Designer at Class A Jewellers, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our brand through your creative vision and design expertise. You will be responsible for conceptualising and developing new collections that embody our brand's values of sophistication, quality, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and create innovative jewellery collections that resonate with our clientele.
Research market trends, materials, and techniques to stay abreast of industry developments and inspire fresh design ideas.
Translate conceptual sketches and ideas into detailed technical drawings and specifications for production.
Work closely with the jewellers and jewellery designer to ensure that designs are executed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Present design concepts and prototypes to senior management for review and feedback.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a jewellery designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing original and innovative designs.
Proficiency in design software such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and MatrixGold.
In-depth knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes, materials, and gemstones.
Creative flair and a passion for pushing the boundaries of traditional design to create unique and distinctive pieces.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate and pitch design concepts effectively.
