The Proposal

Whilst holidaying in Fiji, Ben planned the perfect day for the lead up to his proposal.

The ocean-loving couple had an adventure packed morning which included scuba diving, stand up paddle boarding and snorkeling, all of this before enjoying lunch overlooking the ocean.

The afternoon included relaxation in hammocks on their private beach before indulging in a couple's massage.

Ben had organised a private dinner for the couple that evening. It was in a picturesque grotto, overlooking the ocean and sparkling with candles and fairy lights. Flowers spelt the couple's names in a heart on the grotto floor and that is when Ben asked Alyssa to do him the honour of being his wife.

Between dinner courses, the newly engaged couple danced barefoot to the music and singing of a Fijian playing an acoustic guitar.

The Ring

Alyssa had no idea that Ben was going to propose so she had no input into the engagement ring. Ben knew what ring he wanted to get for Alyssa and after looking at a few stores, was not having a lot of luck. This was when he came across Class A Jewellers. After talking to the jeweller, Ben knew this was the place that would make the engagement ring he was envisaging.

Favourite Moment

For the couple, their favourite moment is hard to choose but the top moment was when they first saw each other as Alyssa was walked down the aisle by her father.

Aside from that, the couple loved; the garden and rustic location of their wedding, their first dance together, enjoying their 'cheese' wedding cake, dessert buffet, port bar, coffee cart and Italian biscotti, photobooth and dancing with their friends and family. They enjoyed the entire day, it was a huge party and they loved celebrating with family and friends.
