The Proposal

"Kevin took me for a walk down to our favourite spot along Linear Park with our dog just before going away for the Easter long weekend in 2018. He proposed over champagne with my stunning engagement ring at 'our spot'. I had absolutely no idea and was still in my work top! We then got to celebrate over the Easter weekend. Ironically at the two weddings we had attended prior, I had caught the bouquet, then Kevin had caught the garter at the second one. Perfect timing!"

The Ring

"Kevin hand selected a beautiful 1 carat round brilliant solitaire diamond for my ring with a platinum band. He knew roughly what I wanted and designed the perfect ring with the amazing help of the Class A staff. Our wedding rings, both from Class A, are perfect. My wedding ring is platinum with diamonds set 3/4 the way around. Kevin's is titanium with a 9ct gold stripe. We found The Ring Bench at Class A really helpful to find what suited Kevin’s hand and also what matched well with my engagement ring. We absolutely love our rings.

I also purchased a watch as a surprise, and had it engraved with our wedding date as a gift to Kevin on our wedding morning."

Favourite Moment

"I don’t know if we could pick just one! The whole day was absolutely amazing. From getting ready, to our ceremony where we wrote our own vows, to having our photos taken on some beautiful spots on the farm, to our amazing reception and then dancing the night away! Our first dance was great fun! We had lessons for a few months in the lead up and performed a full choreographed routine with lifts and everything. It even required a quick dress change!

The biggest part was being able to share such a special place, my family farm, with so many personal touches and everyone we love. Kevin and Dad made our wedding arch and signing table out of wood from our farm, we used local greenery and so many little touches that had family meaning. It was a perfect day for us."
