The Proposal

"It started off with a surprise weekend away and some guidelines on which outfits to pack (starting with white lace, well played). We made a quick detour past our first home (to-be) only to find the most divine Kilter blooms set up and a sneaky friend hiding upstairs, ready to capture the moment on Polaroid. After giggling my way through the proposal and forgetting to actually say yes, we celebrated with Moët and a few happy tears, in awe of the magic that Class A Jewellers had created. Next we arrived at Saltram Wines to the prettiest intimate lunch setting in their wedding gardens hosted by Scott Liddell. It was the spread of my dreams paired with an impressive line-up of vino. With full bellies and full hearts, we made our way to Barossa Helicopters for the best view of the Barossa. Finally, we ended the day glamping with cheese platters, more wine and the sunset (all this and in bed by 8pm!).

Round two the next day was the Penfolds ‘Make Your Own Blend’ where we battled it out for who could make the best wine. In true Harrison competitive style he won, but made up for my bruised ego with a Grange tasting and Ember Pizza.

On the way home we stopped past Charles Melton Wines for a tasting and a bottle of the ‘Father in Law’ to surprise my parents with that night. WHAT A MAGICAL WEEKEND!
