The Proposal

“It was a Friday night and I was out to dinner with my best friend.  On the way home as we were driving towards my street, I noticed a road closure sign.  My friend (who was in on the plan) stopped the car about 100m away from the house.  I phoned Mum to see what was going on and she just said that there was a burst water pipe and we’d need to walk the rest of the way. I thought this was strange but got out of the car and started walking down the street.  As I got closer I could see roadworks cones leading to my driveway with a red rose in each with a number representing each year Anthony and I have been together.  I then realised what was happening and when I reached the driveway, there was Anthony surrounded by candles, roses and a box in hand with a note saying, “Will you marry me?”

The Ring

A six claw solitaire, featuring a Brilliance by Class A 1.50 carat diamond in a platinum knife-edge band.

“Anthony and I chose the ring style together, with Anthony working with Brad at Class A to pick the diamond size, colour and clarity.”

Favourite Moment

“Seeing Anthony’s face as I walked down the aisle, and the moment we were officially announced as husband and wife.”
